At the 2025 Guangzhou Hi-End Premium Audio Show, Cen.Grand officially launched its flagship strategic product—the GLD1.0 Synchronous Data Digital Player. Equipped with the independently developed and nationally patented “Synchronous Data Transmission Architecture” (SDDT), this innovative creation is hailed as a redefinition of the standard for digital music playback.

世纪格雷创立于2011年，早期专注于高性能蓝光播放器开发，并与美国Marvell公司合作引入“独立音频双时钟”技术，为品牌在数字音频领域奠定了扎实技术基础。此后推出的9i-AD系列播放器与DSDAC1.0 1bit架构DSD解码器，均在HiFi市场取得高度认可，品牌影响力迅速扩大至国际。

Founded in 2011, Cen.Grand initially focused on the development of high-performance Blu-ray players. Through collaboration with U.S.-based Marvell, the company introduced the “Independent Dual Audio Clock” technology, laying a solid technical foundation in the field of digital audio. Subsequent releases, including the 9i-AD series players and the DSDAC1.0 1-bit architecture DSD decoder, were highly acclaimed in the HiFi market, rapidly expanding the brand’s influence on an international scale.

GLD1.0的研发，正是为解决“数播不如CD”的长期质疑。针对传统USB异步音频协议在传输稳定性与数据完整性上的天然缺陷，GLD1.0彻底摒弃USB，改为采用基于X86_64架构的Windows系统平台，通过PCIe总线实现高带宽、低误码的音频数据输出，并结合同步时钟系统，实现了真正的“Bit Perfect”传输。

The development of the GLD1.0 was driven by the longstanding criticism that "digital streamers fall short of CD players." To address the inherent limitations of traditional USB asynchronous audio protocols—particularly in transmission stability and data integrity—the GLD1.0 completely abandons USB. Instead, it adopts a Windows-based platform built on the x86_64 architecture, utilizing a PCIe bus for high-bandwidth, low-error audio data output. Combined with a synchronous clock system, this approach achieves truly “bit-perfect” transmission.

值得一提的是，GLD1.0还首创了POW（Parting of the Way）传输协议，将音频数据与时钟信号分离传输，在接收端通过定制模块还原为高精度I2S信号。这一方案被香港《音响技术》杂志评价为“具革命性的数字播放器设计”。目前，GLD1.0提供标准版与豪华版两种配置，分别采用第12代Intel赛扬与第11代Intel i7处理器，满足不同级别音响系统的性能需求。后续合并式产品GLS1.0也将在年内推出，进一步丰富产品矩阵。

Notably, the GLD1.0 also pioneers the POW (Parting of the Way) transmission protocol, which separates audio data from clock signals during transmission. At the receiving end, a custom module reconstructs the signals into high-precision I2S output. This innovative design has been praised by Audio Technique magazine in Hong Kong as “a revolutionary approach to digital player architecture.”

Currently, the GLD1.0 is available in two configurations: a Standard Edition powered by a 12th Gen Intel Celeron processor and a Deluxe Edition featuring an 11th Gen Intel i7, catering to the performance needs of different levels of audio systems. An integrated model, the GLS1.0, is also scheduled for release later this year, further enriching the product lineup.
